Hat, hat!

The other morning I walked away from Gavin for a second while he was feeding himself pancakes.  As I came back into the kitchen, I was shocked to see him sitting there as proud as can be with the plate of syrup on his head as he was repeating, "hat, hat."  I guess the shape of the plate did sort of look like a hat, but needless to say I took the plate right away and then... I grabbed the camera for a great big smile.  Yeah, great teaching moment.  "Don't ever do that again Gavin, but look at me and smile." Oh well, he was too darn cute and it was bath time anyway.

OHHH Sis, that little boy has wrapped himself right into my heart! How I wish I was there! I'm sooo sorry to learn of his ear infection. I hope he is feeling much better now that he has seen a Dr. I WOULD hold and CUDDLE him and NEVER put him down, especially not feeling well. Thank you for posting. Kiss then all for me, K?Love, Grandma

Ha! That's so cute and funny! With McKell now demanding to feed herself she gets pretty messy too. The other night she had rice in her hair and on her nose and eyes and hands and the floor...yeah, let's just say that I am now sweeping about 3 times a day. Too cute! Love the big smile he's giving!! I miss you guys!

That is the cutest thing...and I love that he did it while your back was turned, like he knew he had better to it quick before Mom stops me! How cute! I'm taking Gripp to the doctor tomorrow because I think he has an ear infection too...just hate it when our kids are sick! Love you guys!

Ten bucks, garage sale! And YES I remember watching that video clip with you at your house of the highly inappropriate bell ringer! So funny! We must think alike because I thought of that video when I saw the pic of Colton on the boat!

I figured out how to make a hat stay on my head maple syrup better than super glue so my mom says. What a cute boy I remember those days when Sean was that age.
See you tonight for grandpas birthday.
Love, Grandma Griffin
