Happy Birthday Jake

Here are a few pics from Jake's Birthday party.  I sure wish Mom, Darci, and Kimberly could have been there too with their families.  Maybe next year though, for the big 8!  The party was awesome according to Jake, but I felt as though it was a little chaotic.  Anyway,  Jake is sure happy with all of his new Star Wars toys, especially his new costume, book, and color-changing light saber!  Thank you to everyone who helped.  And see Jeannie, the pictures turned out alright even though you've never shot with a Canon before. :o)

Here they are playing "pass the Death Star"
Feed Jabba the Hut.  They each took turns throwing little green frogs into his mouth.
Jake is trying to open presents...and breathe!
Make a wish...
Jedi Jake

It was a great party! (I know, because I was there). You were very brave to have that many kids for a birthday party. And a good mom too! I didn't know they made so many Star Wars toys until Jake started opening them. EVERY present was something Star Wars. It was fun!!! Congrats to you and Justin for the throwing the biggest birthday party yet. And next year. . . . . . . .

Wow, that looked like an awesome birthday party!! I loved Jake in his Jedi costume, he really looks like one!! So cool. You amaze me with all the creatvity you put into things. That Jabba the hut looked awesome. I know Jake had a blast and I'm sure all the other kids did too. I really wish I could've been there too, but next year we'll have to have a HUGE party for his big 8 and then add Kailey's birthday too...oh and McKell's....oh, yeah and my birthday too. What a fun celebration that would be!! Cake all around!

Hey Sister Poo, I'm finally able to get your full blog to appear. The party for Jedi Jake looks fantastic. It looks like you covered every detail with great success. Jake looks just like a Jedi! The cake was ideal too. I can see only one small hitch with this party...how are you going to surpass this party next year? tee hee...I really do wish that we could have been there. I will not miss next year. Big eight is too important. Giz is right about all the birthdays in May. Brends Sue's is the day before McKell's too. You'd better start planning now for all the celebrating we'll be doing! I sure love you daughter.
