Spring Break

For Spring Break we headed up to my in-law's cabin. The kids were pleasantly surprised to see that there was quite a bit of snow still on the ground to jump in.

Kailey said, "look at me Mommy, I'm the Ice Princess."
Gavin had a blast throwing snowballs. (Notice the snowball implanted on Jake's shirt)

Liberty enjoyed the snow every bit as much as the kids.

She rubbed it into her hair! Bath time.
The kids also had a lot of fun making a Leprachan trap.
Gavin got to help set it up.
They patiently waited while dreaming about what they were going to do with the gold if they actually caught one.

What the? We actually caught one!

This face pretty much sums up Kailey's reaction. "Mommy!" she said.
I'm still laughing at Jake's reaction. He said, "You're weird." Darn it, he's getting too old for stuff like this! Oh well, Gavin liked it:

Corvette

Okay so, the love of cars didn't start nor does it end with Gavin. To be honest, it stems from their Daddy. Jake has been trying to talk Justin into trading his BMW for a Corvette. Well, that isn't likely to happen anytime soon. However, my in-law's have a really nice neighbor that took Jake for a ride on Sunday. He was in Heaven.

He is still talking about it and thinks that Daddy should definitely get one! Sorry Jake, it ain't happening.

Gavinisms

I just have so much fun with my Gavin. He has me wrapped around his little finger BIG TIME. Here is an example of a conversation we had as I was tucking him into bed a little bit ago:

Me: Ni-night cute guy

Gavin: I'm not "cute guy", I'm Gavin

Me: Okay

Gavin: I'm not "okay", I'm Gavin

Me: LOL

Gavin: I'm not "funny", I'm Gavin

Me: yes you are

Gavin: I'm not "yes you are", I'm Gavin!

He just cracks me up (no pun intended).
